Thank you for your interest in Fields of Learning family daycare, where I believe ?it takes a village to raise a child.? My name is Avis Fields and I am a parent of a 2 year old girl. I am located in the Ballantyne area nestled in the Thornhill Community. I live in a large home and I am dedicating 2100 square feet to the day care! I really enjoy seeing children reach their full potential. As a parent, I understand that it can take a lot of time, effort, and patience to find a perfect match to care for your child. I provide a safe, comfortable environment that incorporates fun, and enrichment. You can rest assure that your child care needs will be met. CERTIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATION: First Aid, CPR, Blood Bourne Pathogens, and AED certified for Adult and Children. 8th grade educator for 5 years Unit Director for the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club Certified in Multiple Intelligences of Children and Adolescence North Carolina Interventions- Preventions and Alternatives I will have two (1) opening in August 2014. I do NOT plan on providing care for the maximum amount of children allowed because I feel it is very important for children to receive quality one-on-one interaction with the provider, as to aid in their cognitive development. I feel it is very important for children to sense the feeling of ?home away from home? so rapport and relationship building with each family is essential.
