Hello! My name is Lauren Holder and I am a 24-year-old female living in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex. I graduated from Life Charter High School in Dallas, TX in 2009. After high school I attended the University of Oklahoma, where I studied Human Relations. Being heavily involved in my community comes second nature to me. I am proud to partner in efforts with the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, Bishop Arts Theatre (Dallas, TX), West Dallas Community Center - Bataan Center, KIPP Destiny Elementary (Dallas, TX) and St. Phillips School & Community Center (Dallas, TX). One of my most notable professional achievements was working with the 2014 Dallas Mayors Convention and I am currently teaching English as a volunteer at Victory Meadow Literacy Center. I have delusions of grandeur. I do not know why; perhaps it’s because I’m an overachiever and people have expected me to do great things all my life. But I have always wanted to change the world--evangelize, cure cancer, win a Noble Prize, or any other great deed to make a difference in this world, to make a difference in at least one childs life.
