Sitter in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

My name is Allison Korns and I am looking to be hired as a full-time nanny in the Lancaster, PA area. I am a Lebanon Valley College graduate with a degree in Psychobiology. Moreover, I am currently enrolled in prerequisite classes for a nursing degree. My classes are on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM- 9:20 PM. Further, I am finishing my Appalachian Trail 2014 thru hike. That being said, I will happily be available to start 10/20/14. However, I am home for my class until 9/30/14 and would love to meet/engage with any interested families. As for past experience, I was employed for 6 summers (through high school and college) at an overnight, Lutheran, adventure camp. I am CPR, First-Aid, and Lifeguard certified. Some of my campers included children with special needs. With that, I am very willing and able to provide care for those with special needs. Next, I was an active member of the school's varsity, women's soccer team (both at LVC and Hempfield High School) and have loved coaching for teams/clinics. To continue, I was fortunate enough to be an intern for the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association this past spring where I especially enjoyed interacting with the rider/animals on the farm. In fact, I adore time spent outdoors and would incorporate this into our daily routine. I am currently training two therapy dogs for KPETS. I hope to have them certified this winter. It should be noted that I have a reliable, four-wheel drive vehicle. In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoy time with children. I am always looking for wholesome, educational (and FUN) adventures.
