My name is Verana. I just moved to San Francisco. I am available for a family who needs a part-time or full-time nanny for their child(ren). I have experience nannying a five-year-old boy for two years. In addition I have tutored people of all ages and subjects in various countries, and I have worked as a teacher and teacher's assistant in a Montessori school working with infants, toddlers, and children up to 9-years old. I have spent many summers working with teenagers at summer camps and have also been a summer camp facilitator for the Girls Incorporated in New Mexico. I am 26-years-old, and I am fluent in Spanish and English with a intermediate proficiency in Portuguese. I have a BA in Spanish Literature and Sociology from The University of Arizona. I love children and can work with any and all ages from infants through teenage years. My method of nannying and interacting with children is inventive, honest, and engaging, and I strive toward balances between energetic movement based activities to calming, educational, meditative ones. I do cook and would love to make your child healthy, creative meals. I do not, however, have a car, but I don't mind taking public transit to get to your location, and I do have a driver's license and clean driving record if lending a car would be ideal for your situation. I am currently living in the city, but I can travel to other areas of the bay if it works for both parties. I am available for phone conversations, e-mail exchanges, meeting in public, or any other form of interview, exchange, or questioning that you would like.
