Hello! Bonjour! My name is Pauline, I'm a first year university student at Carleton studying Human Rights and Social Justice. I'm currently living on campus, but I'm more than comfortable to take transit to wherever your family may be located in Ottawa. Coming from a family of five kids (and many, many "furry kids" as well), I have an ample amount of experience working with children and animals. In high school, I worked as a lifeguard and swimming teacher and was the most requested instructor we had on staff with the municipality, and my favourite part of my job was always working with the kids. I worked in school as a peer tutor for younger grades, teaching full lessons on my own and working with struggling students one on one. As a counselor and organizer for my school's leadership camp, I was awarded the Best Cabin Leader Award for the spring session. If it's unclear, let me reassure you, I love kids! And I would love to meet your little ones and help out however I can. With a background in CPR - First Aid and advanced aquatic leadership courses, I am more than confident in providing a safe (and fun) atmosphere for children.
