I am comfortable with infants through school aged children and have experience with each as lead care provider and as lead teacher. My background includes two years of formal schooling in a highly successful program called 'Toybox'. This is where I was taught how to create age appropriate lessons focused on basic subjects centered on the developmental level of each child. I have also worked in a pre-school learning center which gave me an opportunity to work with children of various ages including my own classroom of school aged children. Here I went through several trainings to include: Child Brain Development, Age Appropriate Developmental Skills, Positive Redirection, & Reinforcement, Accident and Emergency Procedures, Parent Involvement, SIDS, and Life Smart Circular Planning. I've been working as a nanny for the last three years and it's something I love to do. I've worked for two amazing families, assisted with three more and currently still work for one of them. I have made the exciting decision to move to the islands with my sister who is also a personal nanny in the North Shore area. Making the transition from a child care facility to a private nanny environment has allowed me to continue to develop and broaden my care and instructional methods.
