Learning new things has always been a pastime of mine and so has teaching, which seems to complement my work with children, especially since their honesty and sophistication fascinate me to no end! Nothing warms my heart more than to work with children; They’ve become my world, and I can’t get enough of them! I’ve taught Sunday school for five years, worked in children’s ministries for ten (working with four-year-olds all the way up to teenagers) and am currently helping in a primary school through a children’s club, where I teach and organize games for a group of kids that average an attendance of twenty. I love entertaining children through creative learning and games and am always looking for new ways to cater to their individual needs. There seems to be a special connection between children and me. When I worked overseas as an ESL teacher, the children I taught would follow me out of class and ask to go home with me! Children of all ages (including those with disability) would come to my class before and after hours just to spend time with me, which I would occupy with craft time and games.
