Teaching and taking care of children is my future career pursuit, so I would like the opportunity to care for other children. I also have a 6-month-old son that I am raising on my own. I'm certified in CPR and First Aid. I am a high school graduate. I plan to pursue an Early Childhood Associate's degree in the fall of 2012 and I have 10 years of volunteer experience, from birth-5th grade, at the Vineyard Community Church. Also, I assisted my mom in caring for my visually impaired and developmentally delayed sister, for 16 years. In 2011, I worked in a daycare during my pregnancy. I have worked with children age five and under, but mostly infants. I love doing this, it's my passion. At church, I have taught a 3-year-old class which I enjoyed and was responsible for seven 2-year-olds, at once. My availability is part-time for summers and the school year.
