Jasmine’s Bio I am twenty-one years old. I have attended Morton College where I was involved with providing services for the community. I've participated in programs like Jr. Achievement where I was given a class of third-grade students to give lessons to for six weeks. We discussed the functioning of a community, practiced vocabulary, sang songs, and participated in other learning activities. For over a year I also tutored with Project Care, funded by the Illinois Secretary of State, assisting special needs adults in literacy and writing skills. I like to believe I am patient, tolerant, understanding, and have a passion for providing care. My primary experiences with child care have been with my three nieces and two nephews who now range from ages 10 months to 7 years. I've also been employed by several families caring for children of all ages including newborns, toddlers, and elementary school students. I love being able to play a role in child development and I make every effort to make a great impact. I also love to cook and bake! I'm always excited about trying new recipes. I eat a mostly vegan diet so I try to prepare the healthiest meals, but I have no problem preparing non-vegan meals for families. I enjoy the company of all animals, small and large. I've also had experience with a wide range of pets including reptiles, mammals, and other exotic pets. I like to keep tidy and clean, even when my hands are full. I'm not afraid of multitasking and I believe a neat environment is crucial. I can assure you won't be disappointed with my services and can trust your children are in good hands under my supervision.
