Hello, my name is Tamia, I am 35 years young, and am very interested in being your after school sitter. I currently reside in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Though I have limited experience as a babysitter, I was a foster parent for my nephew from 1st - 3rd Grade and was required to take parenting classes and a national background check. I am very loving, patient, outgoing and love creating activities that children will find entertaining. I can help with homework, as well. Babysitting is something I enjoy doing when I am visiting my nieces 4 & 7 in Trinidad, where my family is originally from, and I also have an 1 year & 9 year old nephews. Some necessary abilities a candidate for this position must have include exceptional communication and leadership skills. Through many of the activities I have participated in, these skills have developed and thrived. Operating a rental team and being a senior rental agent team leader both require communication and leadership. My dedication to succeeding in school has taught me how to effectively produce results, manage my time, and solve problems. I would like to find an enjoyable job which allows me to further my education. I speak English fluently, some Spanish and French.
