Hello My name is Melissa, and I would like to offer my services for an in home daycare setting. About myself/background: I taught in preschool for 5 years before having my children. I now have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old. I have a Master Teaching permit for early childhood education. As well as an AA in Early Childhood. I primarily taught in the Pre-k age group, but have had at least some teaching experience in everything from infant up to Pre-K. I have experience planning curriculum and activities for preschool age, and know how to start them on a love of learning in fun and creative ways! I loved teaching in preschool, but when my children were born it just made more financial sense to stay home with my kids. But now I would like to start up something in my home. I am very flexible as to hours and days that would be needed. If you are looking for something part or full time, we can talk about you needs and what would work best for you. So if you would rather your child be in a home setting instead of a larger daycare or preschool, please consider me as an option.
