Sitter in Appleton, Wisconsin

Hello! I'm currently available for part-time and/or drop-in care or before/after school care between the hours of 7am-5pm, Monday - Friday (there may be some wiggle room with these times). Full-time hours may be considered. I have a 2-1/2 year old daughter and a 5 year-old son. My son is in 4k in the mornings at Woodland Elementary and he rides the bus which stops right in front of our house so if your child needs transportation to and/or from Woodland, this will be perfect for you! I've been caring for kids since I was 7 years old, beginning with my younger siblings, babysitting in my teens and now my own two children as well as occasional care for friends and relatives. I currently care for a 5 year old girl and her 1 year old sister part-time in addition to my own. I'm a very creative and artistic person so we enjoy doing arts and crafts as well as music, dancing and singing songs. I also enjoy getting the children out of the house, so we often go on field trips to the Building for Kids, library, parks, story time, play groups and the YMCA. I have a large, non-smoking, pet-free home so there is tons of room for the children to run around and we also have a large fenced in play land in our back yard. When the weather is nice, we're rarely in the house. I am a caring and fun parent and caregiver. I believe its important for children to have routine and discipline, but more importantly, I feel that kids need to be allowed to be kids. We love messy play and letting our imaginations run wild building forts and playing pretend. I believe that children need change of environment and hands on experiences to learn and thrive so we take trips to the YMCA, the Building for Kids, the park, library, various story times, etc. As a parent, I understand the struggles with finding quality, trust worthy care for the most important and valuable thing in your life, your child. Rest assured, in my care your child will be well taken care of and will always have fun.
