In home daycare has two openings available newborn to preschool. I have a very small group so I am able to give your child the one on one love and attention they deserve. When it comes to children I believe I can create a happy journey to those in and outside of the classroom .I have a very creative and imaginative blend which helps in delivering lessons in an interesting manner. I have a motherly and caring attitude to attend to the needs of the children in time; I have a strong desire to work with children. I was also a second grade associate for 1 year until my nephew was born. I have 18 years of experience in working with a child with special needs while my sister worked full-time I was the designated caregiver for my nephew who has Praeder-Willi, I am a volunteer with the Special Olympics and help every summer at Camp Sunnyside. I was the lead teacher in a two year old room and have been for the last year. Prior to that I was an assistant teacher in a preschool 4-5 room for a year and a half I am currently CPR/First Aid certified with an additional 20 credited hours through DHS. Besides the crafts and fun things we do all day, we also learn along the way.
