Crystal's Crib is a Texas State Licensed In-Home Daycare located in North Dallas. Owner and Director, Crystal Elliott offers care for infant's ages 6 weeks to 18 months old. Crystal has her Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Development and has a minor in Early Childhood Education. Crystal's Crib offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere as well as a nurturing environment. Your newborn will have all the comforts and security of a home setting and other infants to play and socialize with in a low infant to teacher ratio. Crystal's Crib is certified through the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services which ensures that the infants will always be in trusting and exceptional care. Crystal has received her Director's License to operate the highest level of acknowledgment within an In-Home Daycare and is permitted with the City of Dallas. She is certified in CPR and Infant First Aid by the American Heart Association and completes 30 hours of CEU's on a yearly basis. The location has passed all Fire and Health Inspections by the State of Texas and local Fire Department. Crystal became a Certified Baby Sign Language Instructor and teaches her program during the day within her daily curriculum and educates the infants on how to communicate the baby's first most important words and needs through hand-visual communication. Upcoming in the next few months she will be incorporating "Your Baby Can Read" program. The infant's daily curriculum is pre-planned and structured to focus on: Sensory, Visual and Hearing Development, Listening, Literature and Music, Fine and Large Motor skills, Problem Solving and Social and Emotional Growth. The infants will have daily supervised outside play time in a stimulating outside setting with vivid colors and enlightening learning all around. Crystal's Crib can be "Your Child's Home Away From Home" and offers a spectacular feature of Secured Online Viewing with the Parent Watch Live monitoring system. You will be able to watch your infant grow by receiving a weekly portfolio on your newborn's activity and development throughout the week. The daycare is enrolled in USDA Child and Adult Care Program, which is an organization from the State of Texas Department of Agriculture to offer assistance to Licensed In-Home Daycare's. She serves Breakfast, AM Snack, Lunch, PM Snack and Dinner. The daycare will provide a specific "brand name" Infant Formula along with infant foods that provide a nourishing meal for their healthy growth and development. She is also integrated in organization with the U.S Center for Disease Control and Protection. The daycare is protected with a fire extinguisher and a carbon monoxide/smoke alarm. We just recently added two additional rooms in the daycare. A quiet and cozy sleep room to allow the babies to have a restful nap with relaxation. Also, mother's that are still breast feeding have a special room and area dedicated to them with seclusion and privacy.
