Sitter in Brockton, Massachusetts

My name is Rebecca Joseph. I am 32 years old and was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts. Currently I reside in Brockton Massachusetts with my husband and two children who are 5 year and 3 years old. We purchased a one family cape on the north side Brockton, which where I own and operate fully licensed day care business called Joseph Family Day Care. Joseph family Day Care has been up and running for four and a half year now and it is doing very well. Currently I am licenses for Eight children. The age ranges are from newborns to 6 years old. Daily I serve a full breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between, snacks. After lunch I ensure the children's teeth are brushed thereby teaching them the importance of healthy tooth and gums. In the afternoon the children takes naps so they can rest up from a very productive morning. At the Joseph family Day Care one of our goals is to ready the children for school by teaching them the fundamentals. This would ensure they will fit right in when they start school. They learn their alphabets, numbers as early as possible. We also do arts and craft so the children can express them self through creativity. We go outside for some exercise, sports and general play. I take them on field trips to museums, zoo's, and park etc. One thing I've learned is that having a regular routine is essential to their social growth as young individuals. It has been a joy owning and operating my own business. I love teaching and interacting with the children; however, I realize there is a lot more to learn so I am furthering my education at Fisher College, for Human Services Bachelor degree hope to receive my degree in early Childhood education.
