Hello! My name is Karen Del Carpio. I go to Hunter College. I am pursuing a Psychology degree. I am a senior. I have always been interested in children behavior. I believe that early experiences shape children’s behavior and are the base for who they are going to be in the future. I think every child has a different personality and therefore, it is important to become familiar with the child’s personality. Developing a positive relationship leads us to openness and trust. Personally I have raised a younger brother. He is 7 right now and I am a witness that along with parenting strategies also patience is important in raising a child. Also I am a religious person with strong moral values. Since a very young age I understood the importance of contributing with my community. I volunteer in my church as a choir member. In other words, I am very responsible and dependable person. I am willing to learn and apply what I have been taught.
