Sitter in Strasburg, Virginia

I am a studious sophomore at Strasburg High School looking to help local parents take care of their children. I am currently learning sign language and studying to become a cardiothorasic surgeon during school hours. I love kids and enjoy baking, crafts, and any kind of outdoor activities and am more than happy to help out with homework and projects for school, as I am a talented student who sports straight A's in all subjects. I have experience sitting for a family with four homeschooled children (Ages 3, 6, 7, and 9). I assisited the kids with their homeschool work constantly and translated their bible verses to sign language in hopes that learning hand motions would help with their memorization of the scriptures. I also aided with meals, cleaning, and watching the children at night when their parents had outings to attend. I oftentimes solved sibling conflicts and calmed the youngest child when she would cry with funny dancing and music. I loved reading them stories and taking them on walks and bike rides around the neighborhood. My previous employers would be more than happy to give a reference if needed. I love animals of all kinds and have had experience taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I have been currently raising a Chocolate Labrador who is almost a year old, therefore I am more than willing to help look after pets as well as children. I am have taken CPR courses through my high school and am working on becoming fully certified when I can find a class nearby. I am available until 9:30 AM and after 3:20 PM on most weekdays and all hours during the weekends. I am very passionate about babysitting and hope that I can put that passion into watching your kids!
