Hi, my name is Amy. I am a newly licensed daycare provider. Welcome to Blue Skies Daycare. I have openings for ages for two preschoolers and 1 school age at this time. I have taken all the required training including Shaken Baby/SIDS. CPR and First Aid. I was a paralegal for many years but I have two children of my own now (ages 5 and 18 months) and believe this is where I belong: Taking care of children and teaching them to realize their potential. And, believe it or not, I believe my experience as a paralegal has prepared me to work with children, in the sense that both require being organized, stay positive and to sometimes wrangle groups of people who may have difficulty staying on task (children and lawyers both fall into this category)! My daycare will offer a preschool curriculum, crafts, sensory tables, science experiments, music appreciation, picnics, theme parties, birthday parties and much more. I am in a federal food program and am required to serve nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks. We have a house in a great location on a quiet street with a playground on almost two acres. We are in Ramsey in the Elk River School District, with a bus stop to Twin Lakes that is visible from my house. I can also provide transportation from PACT Charter School, where my child attends kindergarten. My hours are Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. My rates are on par with the average in the area and include all activities, projects, field trips, etc. I am also offering my parents one week of your vacation time FREE!
