Do you want the best of all possible worlds by having your preschool child in a warm, loving, safe, and homey atmosphere but yet also receive a high quality Pre-K experience that adequately prepares your child for that first day of Kindergarten? Little Learners may be the answer! * Held in a lovely older home in the Westgate area on the west side of Columbus * Directed and taught by a licensed Social Worker who has extensive experience with children and families * Who has four years experience teaching Pre-K curriculum to 4-5 year olds in a private home setting * Is a former foster parent & parent to four children of her own who are now grown * Who is active in church and the community * Has current certifications in CPR, First Aid, has had safety checks of her home done by the Division of Public Safety/Division of Fire, and fingerprinting and background checks done recently Little Learners curriculum will include: * Learning the ABC's, sounds and writing letters * Learning numbers, shapes, colors, early math concepts, weather, calendar, animals, nature and so much more... * Have literature based themes using classic children's books * Character building such as kindness, cooperation, listening, sharing * Indoor play and outdoor play (cute wood fenced-in back yard) * Daily Bible story * Music and singing * Art and craft experiences Your child must be between ages 3-5 to enroll. No more than 6 children will be enrolled. Tuition rates are $180.00 per week for up to 9 hours per day, Mon-Fri. There is a non-refundable, one-time registration fee of $25.
