Our Little Sprouts Program is an academic centred school program for kids ages 30 months to Kindergarten. Little Sprouts will have some basic programming in Literacy, Math, Science, as well as all other subject areas. There will be time for outdoor and free play as well as a quiet activity time (or rest period for those that require naps). A detailed schedule can be found on our website at www.....ca We are located in the Presbyterian Church (the old Helen Kinnear Day Care Centre) right downtown Port Colborne. We are looking forward to taking advantage of this great location, and will schedule time each week to explore our community. This community time will include trips to the library, park, local businesses, and various other locations within walking distance. There are also plans to take field trips for hiking, nature exploration and more! Tuition for the school year (Sept until the end of June) works out to approximately $34 a day. There are various payment options available and you can find out more on the website. The cost of lunches are not inlcuded in this tuition and are provided by a third party caterer at approx $6 per day. Parents can elect to opt out of this lunch program (send their own lunches). Please note that Little Sprouts are required to be potty trained in order to attend the program. We can assist with toileting but are not able to accommodate those still in diapers. This program is part Evergreen Academy Inc. Private School. The Ministry of Education does not license or accredit private schools and we are required to inform you that the Little Sprouts program is not licensed by the Ministry of Education. We can asusre you that this program follows, and abides by, legislation/regulation policies. A regular day program runs from 8:30 to 3:30 Monday to Friday. Extended hours are available.
