Sitter in Waldorf, Maryland

Hello my name is Lakea Stewart. I currently live in the Waldorf area. I am looking to start my own in home babysitting service with the goal of eventually having my own childcare facility. Currently I am the director at Wonderland Child Care Center. I have 5 years in the childcare field. Over my child care Journey I have worked at three childcare centers and I have worked with children ranging from ages 0-12years and I have enjoyed every moment. I have taken numerous training classes and have received a lot of certifications. I am currently certified in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and SIDS Prevention just to name a few. At this point I would like to branch out on my own and use the tools and concepts that I have learned over the years to bring quality care to my babysitting service. Starting Aug. 10 2015 I will be providing care to children ages 6weeks-4years in my home. I can start sooner if needed. I chose this route because I know how expensive and difficult it can be to find a good babysitter or even a decent childcare center that you can feel comfortable with leaving your child. I will be providing breakfast, lunch and snacks. Although this is a babysitting service it will still have some of the same qualities as a childcare center such as learning activities (numbers, colors, shapes, etc.), outdoor physical activities and potty training if needed except the children will be in a much smaller setting that will have more of a home feel.
