My name is Alexandra, but I go by Lexi. I am a 22 year old currently living in Lexington, Kentucky looking for a nanny or au pair position in Vancouver, BC according to the guidelines of the Live In Caregiver Program. I would need sponsorship. For the past 6 years, I've been a nanny for a family with 3 children, one of which was born with a condition called VACTERLS. She has suffered from heart, kidney, bladder and GI issues. She has had a feeding tube, heart monitor, catheter and 15 surgeries. The care she requires is more intense compared to her brothers. She requires daily medications and regular trips to see her doctors and specialists. Recently, she has had her feeding tube removed and is able to gain nutrients from a monitored diet. My love for children is truly something I live for. I enjoy knowing that with my care and experience, I'm providing a better life for every child that I care for. I would like to use my experience with children to begin a wonderful career and provide families with the convenience of a nanny, providing excellent care for their children. I am looking for a host family that would be willing to offer me a job according to the guidelines of the Live In Caregiver Program for Canada and be able to sponsor me.
