Hi, my name is Katie. I have approximately three years of child care experience and a true passion for children. I was an Assistant Teacher in the infant room at Primrose Preschool and a Caregiver at Second Baptist nursery. I am also a Certified Medical Assistant and aspire a career in Pediatric Nursing. I absolutely love working with kids and always look forward to seeing and helping them develop each day. I will strive to provide a safe and loving environment for your child/children as I would for my own. I am a strong believer in implementing (age appropriate) daily activities into children's schedules necessary for growth and development. This may include tummy time, basic sign language (helpful for infants communicating their wants/needs), reading, arts/crafts, outside time, etc. I would also be happy to include Bible stories/prayer upon your request. As a new Mommy, I am blessed with the knowledge and experience I have received from my job over the years. Being on both ends as a caregiver and first-time mommy, I know first-hand the anxiety of leaving your precious baby with someone else. I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and am looking to match myself with a family who would allow my newborn to accompany me at work every day.
