The DREAM Summer Camp & Mentoring Program is operated by the DREAM It Forward Foundation, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Our program features traditional summer-camp activities with an emphasis on artistic expression, outdoor adventure, and fun education. During the camp hours kids ages 5-13 will explore their creative sides, dancing, singing, and creating. For fun in the sun, your little one will be able to run and play in the park. We will also enjoy movies, games, and other educational activities. Shhhh... the learning part is our little secret! Camp hours are 9am - 3:30pm, however with special arrangements campers may be dropped off as early as 8am and picked up as late as 4pm. For your teen ages 14-18, they will partner with a mentor to help them get a jump start on the following school year and life. They can also choose to participate in peer-mentoring where they will be paired with a younger camper and help to inspire their greatness. Mentoring helps build high self-esteem, community involvement, and confidence. The founder and executive director, Yaminah Childress is extremely involved in hands-on leadership and supervision of all aspects of the camp. She will provide individual attention to each camper and get to know all campers on a close personal basis. Her three daughters, Shania Samia and Sarai also participate in the camp and enjoy the fun atmosphere with all the other campers. The great part about our camp is that it is very affordable, which helps you save money during the summer months. Camp prices for 5-13-year-old DREAMERS are $100 weekly, however we offer scholarships that can decrease prices up to 50%. Mentoring for teens 14-18 is free. Contact us today to enroll your DREAMER.
