Hello! I am Emily and I love to babysit so much. I babysit my little sister all the time and went to the professional Canadian red-cross babysitting course, learning to babysit kids all ages. It is fascinating for me to learn how to make friends with kids and how to take care of them to make sure that they are comfortable and safe. There are a lot of things I love to do and I am always willing to learn new sports, cultures and skills. I go to the library to do teen volunteering and help kids learn to read. My little buddy Aleshia always has a lot of fun with me going through the magical adventures in the stories and she gives me a tight and warm hug every time before we go home. Volunteering means a lot to me, I learn socializing skills, make friends, earn responsibility and most of all help others when they need it. It feels great to watch Aleshia leave with a little more knowledge learnt than the day before every time I teach her. I also go to Toastmasters weekly, which is an amazing organization that helps you fight the fear of public speaking. I love public speaking and to influence others with my words. I was in Saanich News front page “Youth Fights Fear of Public Speaking”. I am mature, responsible and happy to take of this new little buddy. I am sure we will rock and have lots of fun. I can cook simple meals and prepare snacks. I am willing to babysit different aged kids from infants, preschool kids to toddlers and school aged kids. I got straight A’s for all subjects already for a couple terms in a row and I am willing to tutor the kids as well. I don’t really believe in being super-strict when learning but learning is still a very important thing that would affect you your whole life. My pricing is 12 dollars per hour and I am very looking forward to spend time with my little buddy.
