Sitter in Jefferson City, Missouri

I am a mother of three grown children offering to care for your little ones in my home. It's like a home away from home. I provide two meals and a snack and provide lots of opportunities for the children to explore and discover their world. We work on reading and math preparedness, social interaction, developing appropriate independence, arts and crafts, and fine motor and large motor skills. Most days we spend some time outdoors, weather permitting. After a busy morning we have lunch and then the children lay down for rest time. My hours are 7:00-5:30 but I am able to be flexable if your job requires different hours. I have worked in two Jefferson City day care facilities and have been opperating from my home for almost a year and a half. I also have a degree in elementary education and have taught school for seven years as well as tutoring children who struggle with reading. I like to work with my daycare children as much as possible to prepare them to suceed in school and learn to read well and love doing it.
