Are you looking for a mature, nurturing and loving person to take care of your little angel(s)? My boys are all grown and have their own families. I miss being around infants and children having fun in reading to them, playing with them, doing crafts with them (yes, even infants can do crafts), going for walks outside and playing outside. I worked as a Pre-School teacher for approximately 11 years when my children were younger. Unfortunately, I had to get a full-time job so I had to give up my Pre-School Teaching position. At pre-school, I was the Lead Teacher for the toddlers (15 to 24 mths.) but I did substitute on my days off from the infant class up to the 4 year olds. I also have experience in working at the after-school program at Snellville United Methodist Church. At SUMC I also worked as a facilitator for the Rainbows program which is a program for children that have lost a parent through divorce or death. When my boys were younger, I was the “street Mom” and usually had anywhere from 6 to 10 children at my house. I have also been involved with the Children’s Ministry at my church and our Sports Camp (which is like Vacation Bible School) at my church. I am a strong believer each and every child should be cared for by their own unique personalities and that should be respected because we are all different.
