Finding the right childcare match for your family can be a time consuming and expensive process. My goal is to provide a loving, safe, cost effective alternative. I am background checked, listed with DFPS, CPR/First Aid certified, Fingerprinted (childcare, education, foster/adopt) with the FBI, and a certified teacher in the state of Texas for Early Childhood and Elementary aged children. My hours are 8 AM to 6 PM; Monday - Friday. (If you need extended times we can discuss that option as well.) I provide a preschool curriculum that will ensure your child is Kindergarten ready. There will be a lot of 1 on 1 learning time and each child has an individualized plan to meet their needs and achieve child specific goals. All lessons will be quick and simple. The day will be fun, interactive and play centered. I use a lot of music and hands on activities. A typical day will include 2 walks down to the park to play, reading time, writing time, math time, a science experiment, dramatic play (playing fire station, doctor, house etc...), educational computer games, music, arts and crafts, and several free play times. On Tuesday we visit the Library for story time and each child can check out 2-3 books of their choice. There will be periodic field trips to places like the zoo, aquarium, Jump for Fun, Grapevine train station, Museum etc... I provide 2 snacks a day and ask that parents provide lunch and breakfast.
