I am a 22 year old mom to a little boy born 8-28-12, and I have been working with infants and children for the last seven years. I just graduated with my Associate's Degree in Psychology. My goal is to become a Clinical Therapist and work with adolescents on issues like Self-Esteem and Peer Pressure. I love working with kids on a personal level by learning their personality and the way their little minds work. I use a hands-on approach to gain the trust of both child and parent. A nanny position isn't just a job, it's accepting the role to help aid and guide a child through growth and development. I strive to become not only their babysitter, but one of their best friends! I have a genuine love for kids and I have realized that this is my life's calling. I think becoming a full-time Nanny would be the best job for me during the next couple years while I continue my education because it's doing what I love, working in the direction I plan to go with my career and also allows me to keep my son with me while I work, which gives him the opportunity to interact with other children. I am open to all ages groups, however I would greatly prefer a child who is around my son's age!
