© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap (google map) Hello, My name is Amanda McDaniel and starting Monday August 01, 2016 I am opening my own Preschool within my home which is located in Deep Creek section of Chesapeake with my mom, Angela Edwards. I am CPR certified, a certified nurse assistant, I will be going to school for my med. tech certificate in June. I also have been a teacher assistant for 10 years in a special needs class with Chesapeake Public Schools. My daycare will be getting your children ready for kindergarten with learning letters, numbers, shapes, written etc. Eventually I will be introducing sight words and adding and subtracting with manipulatives. We will have reading groups, math group and word wall. We will follow a behavior plan of first and then chart. Our disciplinary actions will consist of a cool down for two minutes and than back to what we are working on. We will be accepting 5- three year olds; and 5- four/five year olds on occasions we will accept under children under 2 so please ask. I will have a daily schedule which will include 2 snacks, breakfast, and lunch. Recess twice a day. Field trips everyother month. Parties throughout the year.
