I love children and look forward to having my own some day, so I guess it would be accurate to say that caring for children is a part of my chosen life's work. I've had the opportunity to care for multiple families, with children ranging from newborns to preteen. I have two nephews, a 1 1/2-year-old and an infant, that I have had the opportunity to care for on a regular basis. I believe that children should be raised in a loving home, where they are encouraged to be creative and express themselves. I enjoy being silly and having fun, but also believe that every action has consequences. Children must learn lessons and have discipline without fear or physical punishment. My mother was a certified nanny and daycare worker for years and taught me important principles regarding child rearing. I recently moved from Utah and I am now searching for employment in the child care field as a nanny. I am most interested in being employed with a family who are motivated to create a positive interdependent working relationship while providing quality care for their children. Some of my interests and hobbies are writing, photography, swing dancing, music, and American Sign Language and fashion design. I enjoy going on adventures and benefiting from mentally and physically stimulating activities. I'm currently a student in an online college program and love it! I enjoy learning new things and improving myself.
