Sitter Job in Hope Mills, North Carolina

We are looking for a part-time Nanny to care for our 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter after school from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm (approximately 15 hours a week) Monday through Friday. We need someone who is reliable, loving, responsible, dependable and has a clean driving record. The position entails picking them up from school (you would be responsible to providing your own transportation), ensuring their homework is complete and assisting/tutoring when necessary, getting them ready for soccer and dance practice (3 to 4 times a week) and transporting them to practice, and fixing a snack/dinner (dinner will be prepared the night prior). There are a few important elements to this position that you must be aware of: 1) We will require a background check, you must be a non-smoker, have a clean driving record (with proof of insurance) and at least 2 references (this could be a teacher, coach or former employer...someone outside of your immediate family – please no boyfriends). After all, we are entrusting you with our children and welcoming you into our home. 2) We also have a dog (miniature dachshund), so if you have allergies or do not like pets, please do not apply. 3) With that said, compensation will be paid based on an hourly rate – up to $7.25 an hour.
