Sitter in New York, New York

Hello and thanks for reading! I am a 29 year-old elementary school teacher in NYC who is looking for extra work on nights and weekends. I am currently working as a long-term substitute teacher in a 4th grade classroom in 's Kitchen and enjoy working with children of all ages. I have been working with children (babies too) in NYC in one capacity or another- whether assistant/substitute teaching or through the NPO, Common Cents (creators of The Penny Harvest), since 2010 and can honestly say I love what I do, which makes me feel very fortunate. My experience working with children extends well beyond the classroom, as I have been providing childcare to families since the age of 14 (mothers helper for a colicky newborn-lasted 4 years until the family moved away. We are still in touch). I love learning new things, cooking, traveling, arts and crafts, macrame, playing in the park, snowboarding, animals, and life in general!
