Sitter Job in Suisun City, California

An occasional Babysitter is needed in-home, for our fun, smart, sweet and very active 3-year-old son. This will be fairly regular (approximately 3-6 times per month, on average). We also have 3 indoor-only cats, so applicant must have experience with cats, no allergies, and must feel comfortable with them. Non-smoker, high school graduate and experience with children, especially toddlers. Must be ale to clean up after yourself and our son. Appropriate wardrobe for watching a child, lots of patience, reliable transportation, applicant must be reliable and punctual. Be a safe driver & have a clean driving record in case you are needed to be driving our son. On occasion, may need to travel 30 minutes, picking up & dropping off to daycare. CPR certified & First-Aid trained, preferred. Father works full-time Wednesday-Sunday and mother works random days/hours throughout week; so times and days will vary, as needed. $8/hr for first 3 times (trial period) if we keep you on as our regular babysitter, the pay will increase to $9/hr with possibility in near future of going up to $10/hr. Last-minute care may also be needed (with pay increase to $10/hr. for being available on last-minute basis.) If willing to do light housework during his naps, we will be willing to pay $10/hr on those days. We are looking for some one who will play with our son, give him lots of attention and will challenge him and be creative with him and not just put him in front of the TV. Someone who will be able to keep up with our son physically and also mentally. (He's very smart and likes to challenge and test others). Applicant must be willing to go along with current nap routine, potty-training in process and food restrictions we have in place. Plus our disciplining (time outs).
