I'm an Ontario Certified Teacher who loves working with kids! I have experience working with both primary/junior students and those with exceptionalities, and have earned a Special Education qualification. I have taught in the current play-based style of kindergarten classroom, where students are encouraged to explore their passions and their interests guide the learning. As a teacher I emphasize life skills such as healthy habits when it comes to play and nutrition, as well as helping children to understand and develop character traits such as honesty, empathy, and courage. I have also earned CPR and AED training from Heaven Can Wait Emergency First Aid Training. All of this is to say that, hey, I'm good with kids!
