Sitter in Morgantown, West Virginia

Hello! My name is Seneca Horton and i'm a 21 year old year old located in Morgantown WV. I am finishing up my third year at WVU earning my bachelors in Social Work. I am currently unemployed aside from being a full time student and a Girls On the Run coach at Westwood Middle School. I am scheduled to graduate next spring, after that I plan to continue to grad school to earn an MSW. I love social work and I plan to dedicate my career to enriching lives, fighting oppression, and advocating for social justice. I love children and I have a decent amount of paid/unpaid experience working with kids. I have previously been employed by the Shack Neighborhood house working as a camp counselor for pre-k/kindergarten aged at-risk children. This experience only reassured me that i'm headed down the right career path! I have also worked with various programs at Mylan Park Elementary under the supervision of Susanne Smart (MSW). There I helped with respite care for infants, head-start programs, play-group, and more. I have also been volunteering with Stepping Stones for over seven years. There I worked with multiple programs designed to give kids/adults with special needs equal opportunity to live a full and rich life. Recently I was offered a paid position for summer 2015 to work at Stepping Stones, sadly I had to decline the offer because the summer classes I will be taking cause a time conflict. Thus said, I am looking for babysitting/nanny jobs for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
