Sitter in New Orleans, Louisiana

Growing up as an older sister with a significant age gap, nearly all my experience in child-care comes from helping raise my younger brother. He was diagnosed with ADD early in his school career and most of my teen years were spent watching him and helping him with his homework. I also have experience as a teacher's assistant for first and second grade classes. I don't have any particularly specific experience with special needs children or very young children and babies, but I definitely have the upper-hand in middle to older children in terms of fun and help with school work, as well as musical and artistic education (arts and crafts and reading being two of my favorite activities to keep children engaged an occupied).
