The objective of Play Learn & Grow Care is to build a center beyond the primary purpose of caring for children from infant to toddler by providing educational and stimulating sessions to them, not only for their creative activity and mind, but also for their body structure, we deeply care for producing well-rounded children with passion for exploring and learning. It is another way of hoping to groom future Scientists, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Presidents, and others that will strengthen our society in the 21st Century. As a mother, I know how hard it is to find the right, trustworthy and inexpensive care provider for the children, especially from 6 weeks to 3 years of age. In all seriousness, it is not an easy task. My issue has been there are times I have to call out a day or two just to find child care provider to fit my budget, and the two days I miss work, I must make up for it, because I cannot really afford a deduction on my pay. One can only understand the burdens that put on me not to lose my job, not to be able to assist the little help I can provide for my children, and try to spend time with them. The reality is I am not the only single mother out there whom is trying to go to school and work to provide for her offspring's. However, I do find people like myself stuck, because they either cannot really find a sitter or afford to pay for child care. Even though, the great State of Connecticut in its gracious and compassionate way provides some help, but as a parent I still have to do my part and add to the contribution in providing my children with good and quality of care.
