Hi, my name is Lin. I am a mom, and a professional career caregiver. I hold a duel Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development and Special Education, Postpartum Doula trained, and CPR certified, with over 28 years experience, including raising my wonderful 13 year old daughter. Mom's drop by to nurse baby's mid day, and parents spend time visiting at pick up, when they have time, to discuss the days antics and adventures! You will find me to be dependable, devoted, compassionate, very supportive, kind, loving, as well as knowledgeable in "early development". I work as a team, with my "parents", creating " an extension of family". IMMEDIATE SPACE FOR ONE FAMILY; AGE: YOUNG INFANT TO 13 MONTHS. Available days, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays on as need basis. Offering very flexible, accommodating hours. My area of expertise is with first time parents, newborns, infants, (nursing infants), toddlers, and a very small (2 to 3) ,group of young children. I work on developmental markers; rolling over, sitting up, crawling, walking, fine and gross motor skills, self feeding, letter, color and number recognition, toilet training and social skills. This is accomplished in a very loving and social family environment, as we focus on interactive, engaging play, through singing, stories and art,(age appropriate activities for all ages), and simply having fun engaging with young peers. In addition, I bake, cook and prepare fresh meals daily, including "making my own baby food", using as much organic ingredients as possible. ***I provide full to part time, highly flexible, dependable, long term, loving child care; catering to parents, who desire a family environment, that feels like home, where little playmates, are considerably enjoyed! *** This is not a family day care model, due to the very intimate size, of up to 3, an open door policy, and the time parents choose to spend here.
