Hi! I am a college graduate with 16 years of experience working with children. I have worked with many families, with up to three children at a time, and varying levels of special needs-from completely typical kids to children with mild autism and most recently with a 5y/o child with CP; he has a mickey button and limited mobility. I am comfortable driving with kids-I have a safe car and clean driving record!-, taking them swimming, and even bringing them to doctor's appointments. I am certified in infant CPR & first aid and am very safety-conscious. I've worked with as many as four children at a time, and with kids from birth through 13 yrs old. I strive to create a safe, fun environment where children are encouraged to use their imaginations, enjoy the outdoors, and express their creativity. I love to have kid-friendly music playing during the day, but don't rely on the TV or other tech to entertain children. I grew up playing in the creek and the woods behind my house, building bug houses and making mud pies, and I believe that no show or app is a substitute for those kinds of experiences! Depending on the number of children you have and whether you would like me to do other things around the house (laundry, grocery shopping, meal prep, etc) I usually charge $17-$20/hour.
