Hi! My name is Marybeth Bland and I am the very blessed single mother of 3 teenagers. We have been living in the Clarksville / FT Campbell area since 2005 and have fallen in love with this town and community! My home is located in the Pisgah Elementary district but I can also provide service for both Hazelwood and West Creek Elementary Schools. Your child will enjoy a nurturing family atmosphere in my home while having access to an entire living area designed around the needs of the toddler through 14year old. I provide learning centers for dramatic play, blocks & puzzles, a huge assortment of books targeted for the toddler age all the way through chapter books that teens enjoy. All of my primary age books qualify as AR reading material. We have a large selection of arts and crafts, science and math activities, and do kindergarten readiness activities daily. I have a huge privacy fenced in back yard for your child to enjoy outdoor play while being 100%secure and it's big enough for a descent soccer game :-). The kids love my back yard! I will make sure your school age child is doing their homework each day and also provide tutoring upon request, during their time here in my home, free of charge to all students enrolled in my before and after school care. I will work with your schedule on a case by case basis as everyone's needs are unique and also life happens and needs change. I am known for the excellent care I provide as well as for the flexibility I offer with your schedule. I am looking for parents that want stability and consistency for their children and can appreciate the value of having a CHILDCARE provider that will treat you and nurture your children like family. My rates are not the cheapest around but you will not experience cheap care in my home. My rates are fair though and are competitive with the local market for childcare service. You will find my home clean but it's not always perfectly tidy as my living room is the center of the children's day and sometimes when you arrive to pick up your child there will be toys all over it. This is because the children are allowed to engage their imaginations and are not restrained to rigorous tidy tactics during free play. We do clean up between activities but during afternoon pick up we will either be in the main play area or outside on beautiful breezy afternoons. Also your child will have the opportunity for "school picture" during the year as well as pre planned outings and field trips.
