My name is Lisa Martchenko and I have two childcare openings available for Septembet 2017. I graduated from the Early Childhood Education program in 2007 from Conestoga College. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for the past ten years and have provided home daycare for 6 years. I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschool, school age and special needs children. I have excellent references from parents and co-workers I have worked with. I am a patient, caring, consistent and nurturing person with all children. I strive to develop a program that nurtures children's physical, cognitive, creative, social and emotional development. I create a weekly calendar that has themes based on the children's interests. I post a daily schedule so parents and children know what time we will be doing activities, having snack/lunch and other routines throughout the day. I also offer daily reports for parents to see how their childs day was, what they ate and their bathroom routines. I offer a morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack which consists of fresh fruit and/or vegetables, a meat or protein and carbohydrates. I will incorporate any food allergies and/or food restrictions into the menu to meet the needs of all the children in my care. My house has a bright and spacious area that is a perfect set up for a daycare. It is decorated with fun and bright paintings on the wall. The daycare area is on the main floor where it is easily accessible to the bathroom and backyard. I live right next to a park and have a fully fenced and shady backyard. I strongly believe my home daycare can be a benefit for many families who are looking for childcare.
