Hi! My name is Madi, and I am a 16-year-old junior in High School. I am a very fun and outgoing individual, and I enjoy participating in theater and music activities. I play guitar, paint, draw, and sing for fun. I have my license and a brand new reliable car. My child care experience started from a very young age with the care of my younger sisters and cousins. Since then, I have been certified and employed working with children in various ways. I spent last summer working at Mary Greeley Medical Center in the Environmental Services department, so I have above average knowledge about health, safety, and cleaning. I have also previously worked for the City of Ames teaching swimming lessons to children ages 2 through 8. I am a certified babysitter which includes CPR and basic life support, and I have experience babysitting newborns through middle school age. I will be spending a week this summer at a nursing camp at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (July 19-25). I am soon going to become a Certified EMT, and am then hoping to go on to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Ideally, I would love to do some part-time work during the school year, and then go on to do more full-time nannying in the summer. I am comfortable with pets and am willing to do household work. Ideally, I would love to work with children ages 0-4 years since I am interested in Neonatal nursing, but I am not limited to those ages.
