Good Afternoon, My name is Amanda and I am a 24 yr old new mom! My husband and I own a beautiful 5 bedroom home in the Orchard Farm school district. I returned from a year deployment in Afghanistan a year ago and then returned to my corporate job. My husband and I just gave birth to a handsome 6lb 10oz baby boy in May. I have decided that I no longer want to work in an office but take care of my son instead. Unfortunately we can not afford a loss of income that drastic so I am opening an in home child care service. I am accepting only 3 children for a Mon-Fri full time permanent child care position. I feel that too many in home child care services have an unacceptably high child to adult ratio. I am only taking 3 children so I can give each child the time, care, love and education that I would expect for my own son. Before deploying to Afghanistan I earned a degree at Lindenwood University in performing arts and a minor in business. I was also a live in Nanny for two different families for an accumulative time of 6 years. I am CPR certified for adult, children and infants. I am Combat Life Savor certified through the military and I am a trained member of the Madison County Child Abduction Rescue Team. I will be opening Monday June 10th. Before any decisions are made I ask that any potential clients be willing to meet with me for a consultation on details, expectations and any special needs for their child. The consult will give us a chance to meet and for any potential clients to view my home/facility.
