I worked in healthcare for over 7 years as a CNA. For the past 2 years I have worked as a Nanny providing childcare to many different homes and age groups. The longest being a year to 3 yr old twins with speech and hearing difficulty. I have training in dementia and physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. I am familiar with NICU babies and have several friends who work as nurses in the NICU which has allowed me to have a great relationship with many of the families. Also I am CPR/AED certified Aside from my list of skills and experience, I like to have fun. I can redirect and handle anger and chaos with a calm and patient tone. I love to interact and do activities. With infants I hold and interact, I understand that sometimes babies just cry. But most of all I understand that it is the parents choice as to how I should interact with their child. So here I am, I want to make a positive experience for both you and your child.
