Stay At Home Mom Offering Daycare For 1 Infant/Toddler My name is Kelly and I am a stay-at-home-mom to a beautiful 16 month old daughter. I am offering child care during the week for 1 infant/toddler in my home. I have never been comfortable with the idea of leaving my child in daycare, but if I had to, this is what I'd expect from the person privileged enough to watch my baby and what you can expect from me. -A clean and safe environment for your child to play -Plenty of safe, age appropriate toys -Story time, learning colors and ABC's through song and play -Healthy snacks and drinks -Diapers changed whenever wet or soiled -Someone to pay close attention to your child's needs (which is hard for a regular daycare due to so many children and only a couple adults) -Loving and gentle correction for your child. Never would I spank or use any other type of physical discipline, as that is not my place. I will however explain why it is wrong to hit, bite, or throw things and use time out (which I use with my own daughter) if needed. I believe that children are a gift from the Lord, and as someone who would be taking care of your child and my daughter I hold myself to the highest standard. Nestled in the prestigious Victoria Grove community, I'm confident you'll find comfort and peace of mind in knowing your child's care is in the best hands possible.
