Sitter in Brooklyn, New York

My name is Pamela and I am a child and adolescent psychologist. I came to New York from Chile two years ago. During these two years I have worked as a babysitter for two families and I have been a Spanish language teacher for children ages 4 to 10, in pre-school and after school programs (“Juguemos a Cantar Spanish Immersion Center” in Park , The Brooklyn New School and PS 6 NYC). Kids learn with me by playing and doing all sorts of fun activities. I have more than 10 years of experience working as a psychologist. In Chile I had my private clinical psychology practice for kids, teenagers and adult patients. I also taught classes in the Psychology School of the Arts and Social Sciences University and did consulting with health institutions. I am a very easy going and responsible person, I love to cook, go to the gym and have studied English classes since I got here. I have two children (ages 12 and 9). I decided to work as a nanny because I love kids and have always had great rapport with them. Plus, this allows me to work in my neighborhood and manage my time. I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your children, because I know what it means to trust someone else to take care of your most precious treasure. In addition to the required activities as babysitter or nanny, I can also teach Spanish, or take care of your pets if you need me too (I have a beautiful cat). I am available to work Monday to Friday from 9 am until 5 pm. And I am open to babysit after 5pm on specific occasions on Thursdays, Fridays and weekends.
