Hello, I am a student from Trent University who is looking to obtain summer employment as a nanny. Overall, I am an honest and hardworking individual who will strive to meet the standards you have set when it comes to caring for your children. I understand over the summer time the children will not be in school and I look at this period as a unique opportunity to engage in daily activities with them, get outdoors, and even plan day trips in and around the area you are from. My priorities would be to develop a positive relationship with each child and to make sure that we are doing things that are tailored to their hobbies and interests. Also, I believe it would be important to continue to read and educate them through the summer and I could do this through short tutoring lessons in subjects they are struggling with or through doing things like taking trips to a local library or science center.
