To begin with I am a mother of two children, ages 3 & 7. I worked at Easter seals Arc as a social worker and decided to quit for two reasons! One I couldn't find good -quality care and two I was with clients more than my children! With this being said; I have decided to open a daycare for special needs children! I am awaiting grant approval but am opening up my home to a few children to start. I am CPR certified - have my core A and B (which allows me to distribute medication ) / state certified - a dsw and certification to work with special needs children/ teens/ and adults! I work all shifts and offer a sliding scale for those in the lower income bracket! I provide : Home cooked meals/ snacks Activities and learning Tutoring for children Safe/clean environment Goal oriented curriculum Progress reports Set schedules Field trips I will not charge if your child is not here but will only hold the slot open for one week (exceptions are made for emergencies/ deaths etc) .
