My name is Terry Gayle and I am a student at the University of Toronto working on my bachelor’s degree. I created Universal Nanny Services in the summer of 2014 when I realized that many working families in the Mississauga area were struggling to find the time to balance their busy schedules with childcare and other family duties. Universal Nanny Services was created to provide for all the domestic needs of a busy working family, with the convenience and flexibility of a small business. My previous work experience as a childcare provider at Mansfield ski club introduced me to the rewarding experience of working with children of all ages as well as creating daily activity plans, and learning effective safety protocol. I continued with my interest in child care through various babysitting jobs throughout my high school career, and Universal Nanny Services is an extension of this interest. I was also employed at Blue Mountain Resort in the house cleaning department where attention to detail was essential and I was able to learn the technical skills involved in cleaning rooms, as well as familiarize myself with the various equipment and cleaning products that are used to ensure rooms were cleaned to meet the highest standard. The services at Universal Nanny's meets the standard of some of Ontario's top resorts! My love of animals originates from being raised on a small farm with a variety of large and small pets including horses, dogs, cats, hamsters and various other farm animals. Pet care is an important component of Universal Nanny Services, to ensure the happiness and wellbeing of “man’s best friend”.
